I grew up in a family that LOVED Cheese Balls. It might as well have been a requirement that if any of the women in the family invited company over… a cheese ball must be served. Cheese just happens to be one of my favorite things in the world… so I was just as happy to step up to the plate and join the family ranks.
Lucky for me, all of the family cheese ball recipes were passed around. This Cheddar Olive Cheese Ball was one of the family favorites!

Cheddar Olive Cheese Ball

This savory Cheese Ball combines the flavors of Sharp Cheddar and Pimento filled Green Olives.

Ingredients
- 8 oz Cream cheese - softened
- 8 oz Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese - shredded
- 1 tbsp Mayonnaise
- ½ tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1 tbsp Minced Dry Onion
- 10 oz Sliced Pimento Stuffed Green Olives
- ½ cup Chopped Walnuts
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients (except the walnuts)
- Shape into a ball
- Chill for at least an hour
- Roll in the walnuts until covered
