Two days away from Super Bowl Sunday!! Are you Game Day ready?? Here’s a simple cupcake topper to bring a little fun to your party spread!
OK.. so these toppers might look a little familiar… Last week I created a similar Cupcake Topper for Valentine’s Day in reds and pinks. These are so easy to make, I thought they’d also make a great DIY for a Super Bowl party. All you need is a variety of Washi Tapes in the team colors! Luckily, for Super Bowl LI – Red, Blue, & Black are pretty easy colors to come by!!
What you’ll need:
- Cake Pop Sticks
- Washi Tapes
- Scissors
1. For each stick, choose the layout and number of Washi Tapes you want to use.
2. Cut lengths of each Washi Tape (twice as long as you want your finished flag)
3. Fold the tape in half around the top of the stick. For toppers with multiple flags, start at the top and add each below.
4. Trim the flags. Depending on your preference, you can leave a straight edge, or cut a V. For the sticks with multiple flags, I like to trim each flag at a different length.
5. Insert sticks into cupcakes
